Global time critical logistics provider GBA Services, announces the appointment of Bill Smetham to the newly created position of Commercial Director.
GBA Services has been experiencing significant growth in recent years, culminating in an almost 40 percent uplift in business in 2015. As Commercial Director Bill’s role will include streamlining the new business development process, overseeing the complex legalities of working with big-name blue chip companies, reviewing and implementing new marketing activities as well as continuing to manage GBA’s global partnerships.
Bill has spent the last two years as an integral part of the GBA Services senior management team working within their Global business stream, so is well acquainted with the company’s client base and service offering. Prior to his time at GBA, Bill boasts extensive management experience working within companies such as Courage Brewery, Exel Logistics, P&O, American Standard and GAC.
